Refund policy
At PlayShala, we care about providing safe, high-quality toys and educational products for children. Every order is carefully checked before dispatch, but in the rare event that your product arrives damaged, defective, or with missing parts, we are here to assist you with a smooth and fair return or exchange process.
7-Day Return & Exchange Window
We offer a 7-day return or exchange policy from the date of delivery under the following conditions:
- Unboxing Video is Mandatory: To be eligible for a refund or exchange, you must provide a clear, unedited, and continuous-motion unboxing video.

- The video must clearly show the shipping label on the package.
- The box or packet must not be tampered with or look like it was opened/repacked earlier.
- The video must be recorded in one take without any cuts or edits. Edited or tampered videos will not be accepted.
- The item must be in the same condition you received it. Unused, with all tags intact, and in its original packaging.
- You must have the receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
To request a return or exchange, please follow these steps:
- Email: Contact us at team@playshala.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Share your order details, unboxing video, and reason for return/exchange.
- WhatsApp: Submit the same details and unboxing video on our WhatsApp at +91 93103 49591.
- Our team will verify your request within 2 business days.
- Once verified, we will inform you of the next steps for return or exchange.
After Verification
- Approval Rights: PlayShala reserves the full right to accept or reject any return/exchange request based on verification.
- Refund or Replacement Options: If your request is approved, PlayShala may:

- Provide a full refund, or
- Ship a fresh new product without requiring the existing product back, or
- Ship a new product after receiving the existing product.
- Self-Ship Process: If the product needs to be returned, the customer must pack and ship the product to the address provided.
- Handling Charges: A non-refundable handling fee of ₹150 applies for all return/exchange requests. Customers must pay this amount to initiate the exchange/refund process.
Partial COD Fee Policy (Non-Refundable)
At PlayShala, we currently do not offer full Cash on Delivery (COD). To balance customer convenience and order authenticity, we provide a Partial Cash on Delivery (Partial COD) payment option.
How Partial COD Works
- Customers opting for Partial COD are required to pay ₹49 upfront online at the time of placing the order.
- The remaining order amount is payable in cash at the time of delivery.
Non-Refundable Partial COD Fee
Please note that the ₹49 Partial COD fee is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Order cancellation by the customer
- Return or exchange of the product after delivery
- Refusal to accept the delivery
- Order marked as RTO (Return to Origin) due to:

- Customer unavailability
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery address
- Failed delivery attempts
This fee is charged to cover logistics handling, packaging, and processing costs and will not be refunded even if the product is returned or not delivered.
By choosing the Partial COD option at checkout, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this non-refundable fee policy.
Refund Timeline & Mode
If your return request is approved and a refund has been initiated, the amount will be processed back to your original mode of payment (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking, or Wallet).
Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider’s processing time.
In case of any delay beyond this period, you may contact us at team@playshala.com and our support team will assist you in tracking the refund status.
Important Notes
- Products purchased under bundle offers or bundle deals are completely non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
- Products damaged due to customer handling, misuse, or improper care are not eligible for return/exchange.
- Requests without a valid unboxing video (as per conditions above) will not be entertained.
- Product Variation Disclaimer - Please note that certain products may have slight variations in color, shape, size, or design compared to the images shown on our website. These minor differences occur due to manufacturing processes, lighting conditions, or screen display settings and do not affect the product’s quality or functionality. Such variations will not be considered as defects or grounds for return or exchange.
